Meet Kyle Tinsley, Graduate of Brevard High School and former leader of the Acceptance Club

Meet Kyle Tinsley, Graduate of Brevard High School and former leader of the Acceptance Club. He was interviewed by the Transylvania NAACP’s summer intern Sam Farrar. This is an amazing interview of love and the power of focusing on good works. If our future is in the hands of young adults like these, we are going to be just fine. Thanks to both for sharing.

Kudos to Kyle and Sam. I am 78 years old and I have said for sometime that I am optimistic about the future of America, despite its many problems at present, because of young people like Kyle and Sam. A statement in the introduction of this podcast says it best: “If our future is in the hands of young adults like these, we are going to be just fine.” Thank you Kyle and Sam for showing us older folk how we should lovingly accept others for being their authentic selves and for asserting their right to live a life free of prejudice and intolerance just as those of us in the “mainstream” assert our right to do so.

I’m starting as a freshman at bhs in a couple days, and as an ftm trans person, I’m super stoked to be part of this.
